Connecting electric charger services to the installer network
Management of services throughout the charger's life performed by the installers. From the installation of the charger itself, to its maintenance and technical service.This App, initially based on Galaxy Buds2 Pro, has been developed to protect people with ASD against any sound that may be unpleasant automatically: it is able to analyze external sound and activate the protection configured by the user.
It analyzes both internal and external sounds thanks to the audio captured from the microphone of the headphones used or from the smartphone itself. So, the audio is interpreted using Machine Learning technology, specifically TensorFlow, an open-source machine learning framework.
And wait, it is not over: the audio samples are interpreted in two ways, through a volume analyzer that allows the interpretation of the amount of sound pressure from the microphone in decibels and also through a categorizer. In this second case, the detection is done through an Artificial Intelligence system that has a trained model for the detection of the sounds that are most annoying for people with ASD.
That's not all: as in any excellent App, the user can choose between multiple modalities, all focused on the welfare of people suffering from hearing hypersensitivity or hyperacusis.
The user can find the external sound mode that corresponds to the intelligent noise cancellation of the app, or the concentration mode, which allows the user to focus on a task without distractions.
Other options could be the mobile content mode, the calm one (just by pressing the button, a sound previously loaded in the app will be played immediately) or the SOS button, which provides an automatic call to the emergency contact.
We mentioned that this is all possible with Machine Learning technology, but what precisely are we referring to? Well, we helped ourselves with TensorFlow, a popular open-source machine learning framework.
This powerful tool can be effectively utilized for sound-related applications such as sound recognition, speech analysis, and music classification. By harnessing TensorFlow's capabilities, developers can train models that learn to distinguish and classify different sounds based on audio data.
TensorFlow provides a range of tools and libraries that aid in the preprocessing and feature extraction of sound data. Techniques like spectrograms, MFCCs, or raw waveforms can be employed to convert audio signals into numerical representations suitable for machine-learning algorithms.
In Spain, Experts estimate that there are around 450,000 people on the autism spectrum. And anxiety, panic attacks, and loss of concentration is what you feel when you hear unexpected loud noises because of their auditory hypersensitivity. So, what happens when technology and innovation can provide the answer to this necessity?
Until now, total noise cancellation has been their only option with ear protection, but this innovation isolates them completely from conversations and the rest of their surroundings.
This project has been possible thanks to the collaboration with the Cheil agency, the Confederación Autismo España and nine other autism-specific entities at the regional and provincial levels, and it is endorsed by the Spanish Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health, the leading medical institution in Spain regarding mental health and autism.
